The aluminum plate has a 5/8” stainless steel thread for screwing on a prism or a measuring instrument.
Plate can be used as a fixed point at the bottom, allowing the surveyor to position his instrument on his tripod precisely above the cross
Includes a plastic protective cap for the 5/8” thread
